Manny Pacquiao roots for a Mosley win

Manny Pacquiao says a fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. may not happen if the undefeated American fighter will continue to insist on his blood-test demand. This is because Mayweather may lose his coming fight against Shane Mosley which is set on May 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

If Mosley wins, Pacquiao may instead face Mosley before the end of the year. Freddie Roach thinks it will be tough for Mosley to beat Mayweather who, aside from his defensive agility, is also good at setting up his opponent for counter blows.

Pacquiao and Mayweather were supposed to meet last March 14 but their talks bogged down after the American insisted on an Olympic-style blood testing 14 days before their bout.

Chris Evans is going to be Captain America

Chris Evans will be playing Marvel Comics' iconic hero Captain America in the big-screen adaptation. The movie will be titled "The First Avenger: Captain America," was announced in 2008 after Marvel Studio's first production, "Iron Man," became a box-office hit.

Chris Evans was a late addition to the roster of potential leads, but he had already established himself as a comic-book hero by playing the Human Torch in the two "Fantastic Four" movies.

"The First Avenger" is an origin story set predominantly during the 1940s, when the red-white-and-blue suited hero first appeared in comics. But the movie will also set up "The Avengers" -- based on Marvel's long-running team series -- where Captain America will lead a group of superheroes that will include Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man.

World's only Immortal animal

The World's only Immortal animal: turritopsis nutricula species of jellyfish may be the only animal in the world to have truly discovered the fountain of youth. Since it is capable of cycling from a mature adult stage to an immature polyp stage and back again, and so on and so forth. That gives it no natural limit to its life span.

Scientists say the hydrozoan jellyfish is the only known animal that can repeatedly turn back the hands of time and revert to its polyp state (its first stage of life).

The key lies in a process called transdifferentiation, where one type of cell is transformed into another type of cell. Some animals can undergo limited transdifferentiation and regenerate organs, such as salamanders, which can regrow limbs. Turritopsi nutricula, on the other hand, can regenerate its entire body over and over again. Researchers are studying the jellyfish to discover how it is able to reverse its aging process.
