TESDA website, defaced by hack attack. Another government Web site was found defaced Sunday night and was the fifth attack since last month. The hacking of the TESDA website appears to be a taunt from hackers as the Philippines prepares for its first nationwide automated elections.
As of 11:30 pm, January 10, the TESDA website front page has been replaced with a message that says "We console with the death of people's scholar, freedom fighter Kimay".

The hacking of government Web sites has alarmed MalacaƱang, considering the attacks' proximity to the May automated polls. Other government websites, including the Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment and several others, have also been hacked in the past few weeks.
